You add a new drink, switch to the winter menu or update a price. With printed menus the routine is familiar: new artwork, print shop, waiting — and a new bill every time. A changeable menu board closes that loop. You pull the letters off, re-set the line, and the menu is current again in minutes.
Architab's Wooden Blackboard Letter Chart is made in our workshop in Cappadocia, Türkiye:

A Large Menu in Göreme: Hopper Coffee
Hopper Coffee in Göreme, Cappadocia, tamed a crowded coffee list by joining four boards side by side into one wide changeable menu board. Classic coffees, sweet lattes, winter drinks and slow-brew methods each get their own column, with three cup sizes priced on a single row. When the season turns, all it takes is re-setting the letters in one column.
Modular Use in Uçhisar: Main Board Plus Helper Panels
Uçhisar Coffee Shop arranged the same product very differently: hot drinks on the main board, iced drinks on a separate helper panel between the shelves. The natural pine tone blends into the café's boho interior — woven pendant lamps, slatted wood wall — with no extra effort. Because the panels are modular, you can split them across the wall however the space allows.
Two Cafés in Istanbul: Three Panels, and a Board That Becomes the Display
Ayşe El Sanatları Butik Cafe in Istanbul runs a wide three-panel layout. Drinks and home-made dishes — from Turkish mantı to smoothie bowls — share one wall and stay easy to read under warm pendant lights.
Another Istanbul coffee shop combined two wide boards with coffee packages on wooden shelves, turning the menu into part of the shopfront. Here the wooden letter board is not just a price list; it is the decor.
Not Only Cafés: a Home-Style Restaurant's Daily Menu
The product is usually described as a café menu board, yet it does the same job in restaurants serving home-style food. Melita Lokantası in Istanbul uses two boards side by side for soups, rice-based mains and the day's dishes. On a daily-menu routine, dishes and prices can change every morning — exactly why a restaurant price board you can re-set by hand earns its place here.
At a Hotel Reception: EA Exclusive Hotel Istanbul
EA Exclusive Hotel Istanbul does not use the board for a menu at all. At the reception, a single panel lists room types, breakfast and transfer rates for both airports, with separate euro and dollar columns. When a room category sells out, spelling out "NO" takes seconds. This hotel price board is the clearest proof that the product works well beyond the café world.
How Many Panels Do You Need?
It depends on how wide your menu is. One of our customers with a simple coffee menu fits the whole list onto two adjoining panels. Another business spreads a large menu across four panels — iced coffees, frozen drinks, frappés and classics, each under its own heading.
The board travels well, too. A customer in Germany sets the same letter kit with euro prices; the special characters in the set cover different currencies and languages.
